My pet is weak and dehydrated. What should I do before the vet?

Is there anything we can do to get her to drink more before we can get to the Vet because she's becoming dehydrated & weak? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 15 years and 1 month old | 12 lbs

You can try offering her canned food and adding water to it, but if she is already dehydrated and weak, she needs to see a vet now. She needs IV fluids. I strongly urge you to take her into an ER vet immediately. Best of luck.
