Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | spayed

My 5 year old German shepherd when she urinates some red peace's that looks kind of like a small peace liver like matter is in the urine. Should I take her to my vet. She acts normal eats ok. I have been giving her a supplement for joints could that cause it?

It is certainly abnormal for there to be visible pieces in urine. I would recommend taking Bear to the vet for evaluation. Try not to let her urinate for an hour before the appointment so they can collect a urine sample for examination. They may also recommend blood work or x-rays depending on what the urine looks like.
