Pet's info: Cat | Ragdoll | Female | spayed | 17 years and 8 months old | 11 lbs
Cat has had issues walking/jumping in the past week. A year or two ago she had a period of difficulty walking/jumping, but it wasn't as bad & then she was completely fine for a long time. Her legs are slipping out from under her. She doesn't come downstairs unless someone carries her; when she does walk, it's only a few steps at a time. She has a much lower appetite than normal (treats too) & has very little reaction to being pet. She fell off the couch a few days ago, possibly also the bed

I would recommend taking Nala to the vet for evaluation. Some of the symptoms you described fit with severe arthritis, which may be manageable with prescription anti-inflammatories. Other symptoms may indicate a neurologic problem, which may not be manageable. The vet can do an examination and let you know what might be going on. They can also discuss her quality of life to help you decide when it may be the best time to let her go gently.
