Hello. The manufacturer recommends consulting your veterinarian before using the collar. Generally, this means that testing was never done on pregnant or lactating cats. It is probably safe, but if anything happens, the manufacturer will not take any responsibility. I recommend one of the Frontline products, even the newest one, Frontline Gold. It states on its label that it is safe for use on pregnant & nursing cats. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Frontline is labeled for pregnant and nursing cats. Personally I do not think it works well anymore but it is safe. I'd chose something else for your non-pregnant cat like Bravecto, Comfortis or the Seresto collar. Pyrantel or strongid is safe for pregnant cats. You can use drontal in the non-pregnant cat. Good luck!
