My cat is giving birth, kitten stuck tail first. Is it okay?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 7 lbs

My cat is giving birth only the tail is coming out and the cat has been in there for a couple of minutes will the kitten be okay

Hello. If the placenta is still attached, the birth process can normally take 10-15 minutes per kitten. If there is enough of the kitten sticking on, you can take a cloth or paper towel & assist the birth by using a firm but gentle pull. Hopefully, her deliveries will continue well.     The kitten is coming out breech. In cats, breech births run as high as 40 percent. Even though most breech kittens come out easily, problems can occur. If the kitten does not come out soon you will need to get the cat to a vet for an exam.
