My cat swallowed a feather. Should I worry if she's acting normal?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 1 year and 10 months old

Hi! My cat probably swallowed a small feather from her toy while we were playing Saturday. It has been 4 days since than and she's behaving completely normal and passing stools but I couldn't see the feather get out. Should I worry it's stuck ? She hasn't vomited and is eating and playing normally. Thanks!

It is still possible it is in her but it is not causing a blockage. If she is acting normally, eating, not vomiting, etc. I would not be overly worried at this time. Just keep monitoring her. Best wishes!
