My puppy got her third parvo shot, then was exposed. Is she safe?

My 16 wk old dog just received her 3rd parvo vaccine. The next day she played in my neighbors yard. My neighbor asked me today, 3 days later, if my dog was vaccinated because a few weeks ago she had a puppy that died from parvo. Should I be concerned?

The risk is probably pretty low, but Lucy may not have full immunity for a couple of weeks after this last vaccine was administered. We booster this vaccine frequently to hopefully catch a dog during the window where antibody leftover from mom is declining and the puppy can make it's own immune response - this may have already happened, or she may be in the process of mounting this immune response now. If Lucy seems nauseous, if she is vomiting, or if her appetite is decreased I'd recommend seeing your vet right away.
