My dog keeps scratching her red ears. Is it a recurring infection?

Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Female | spayed | 1 year and 4 months old | 6 lbs

Hi. My dog keep scratching her ears and her ears become red. This is not the first happen, last time she was cured with the ointment last vet prescribed. Now happening again. Please advise what should I do? Thank you!!

It sounds like Koey probably has recurrent ear infections. This can be related to allergies, so you should make an appointment to have your vet take a look and to potentially discuss an allergy work up. Koey may need to restart ear ointment.
