Senior dog losing weight, arthritis, incontinence. When is it time?

Pet's info: Dog | Greyhound | Female | unspayed | 13 years and 10 months old

Hi, i currently have a 14 year old greyhound who in the last month has lost alot of weight but yet is eating as usual and has the same appetite. she has in the last year deteriorated with her walking and joins as she has arthritis. she also now is looking like she has no control of her bladder. She hates the vets and gets in such a sate i don't like to take her until i need to. i am not naive and i think the time is coming for unfortunately to be put to sleep, i am just looking for advice.

Based on your description, she seems to be struggling in her daily life. You can ask her veterinarian for a mild sedative prior to her exam to decrease her anxiety.
