My dog has colitis, but still has diarrhea and gas. Is this normal?

Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Female | spayed | 13 years and 11 months old | 11 lbs

I took my dog to vets last week and he said she had colitis- he gave her an injection and Nisamox tablets - 5 days later she still has bad wind and diarrhoea all over the house - is this normal ?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Squirt. No, I would expect her to be feeling better by now. I recommend that she sees her veterinarian again. She may have a more serious condition such as pancreatitis. This is common in her breed. It can be diagnosed by a blood test. I hope this information helps!
