My dog has colitis, but still has diarrhea and gas. Is this normal?

I took my dog to vets last week and he said she had colitis- he gave her an injection and Nisamox tablets - 5 days later she still has bad wind and diarrhoea all over the house - is this normal ? Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Female | spayed | 13 years and 11 months old | 11 lbs
