Why does my dog throw up after deworming? What are alternatives?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 7 months and 9 days old | 25 lbs

Hi my dog keeps being sick every time we give her worming treatment. She’s fine throughout the day with normal behaviour then in the evening around 6:30pm she’s sick every time

Some dogs can be very sensitive to certain ingredients but if she is vomiting more than 2 hours after the medication being given it is likely to have been effective. There are many brands and ingredients available other alternatives would be spot on medications such as advocate/stronghold (does not cover tapeworm) or 5 days of fenbendazole (parazole) which is normally tolerated better and covers all internal worms
