My pregnant cat has green and white discharge. Is she in labor?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | unspayed | 2 years old | 7 lbs

I have a cat that I adopted 6 weeks ago and found out she came pregnant. The green hardish stub was sticking out last night and disappeared after a few hrs, probably went back in. I'm worried about her, I know she's at least 6 weeks pregnant. She had a tiny bit of white discharge about 15 hrs ago and nothing since. Help

She definitely looks pregnant and she may be trying to give birth. If you keep disturbing her she may not have the kittens. Leave her alone and just check on her every couple of hours. If she is in active labor (pushing) and no kittens are coming out then she needs to see a vet ASAP.
