My dog's nipples have white discharge when squeezed. Is she pregnant?

Hello, my 4 year old pug is having a whitish discharge from her nipples when they're squeezed and I'm not sure what it is.

It's possible that Lexi is pregnant, or developing a false pregnancy, or mastitis. We can also sometimes see discharge from the nipples with mammary masses (tumors). I recommend having a vet take a look at Lexi to determine what's going on. If they don't see an obvious cause with the exam alone, they may put a drop of the discharge on a slide and see if there are any cells present to indicate the underlying cause.
