My friends dog has what looks a bit, but we're not sure if it's a horse bite or another dog or what kind of bite it is.

The pictures are a little unclear and hard to see exactly what is going on but the area looks red and inflamed. It could be a bite or could be a skin infection due to an allergy or another cause. I would recommend Raven sees her veterinarian so they can get a close look at the wound so she can get treatment for this. Raven may need antibiotics or other medications as needed.

While this could be some sort of bite, if it is, it appears to be infected or severely inflammed. I would strongly recommend an examination by a veterinarian. They may be able to tell by a physical exam of the area if this is an infection or if there is another possible cause (such as a fungal infection such as ringworm or a tumor such as a histiocytoma) and determine if additional testing is needed or a course of antibiotics needs to be prescribed.
