My budgie is puffed up, not eating, and lethargic. Is it sick or cold?

Hi, I’m minding my friends budgies while he’s on holiday. One of them seemed puffed up today and stayed in one part of the cage. They also didn’t eat at all. When I visited them 2 days ago they were eating fairly well. What should I do? Are they too cold? Are they seriously sick? Should i take them to the vet urgently or could it wait until tomorrow?

Thanks for reaching out about Lemon and including photos. First, try offering some heat support with the goal of the 80-85 F range. A change in routine can be stressful, so trying spending more time with them, for observation and company. If they continue to be lethargic, a veterinary visit is recommended to assess and provide a diagnostic/treatment plan. Good luck.
