Why is my cat running around the house like crazy before pooping?

Hi, my cat has recently been running crazy around the house just before pooping. I know now when she wants to poop because she’ll suddenly start running around like crazy around the house and then she’ll go poop, is there a reason why she’s doing this? She may be a little constipated or have some digest upset. A tsp of plain (not sugar-free) yogurt or pureed pumpkin may help make her stools easier to pass and make her less excited before going. If it doesn't help, or you notice any other issues, a vet visit along with a stool sample is a good idea to rule out parasites, allergies, etc that could be causing it.
