Hello. Is a soft serve ice cream ok as a very occasional treat? It’s my dogs birthday. Pet's info: Dog | Cocker Spaniel | Male | neutered | 13 years old | 22 lbs

Happy birthday Zeke! Some dogs can handle small infrequent amounts of human food without any problems. However, others are more sensitive. Gastrointestinal upset and/or pancreatitis can result from human food ingestion. There is no way to predict if he will have an issue or not. A very small amount is less likely to cause a problem.
