Why is my cat's poop black on antibiotics for mouth infection?

Hi my cat's poop its black i mean realy Black.. Its not diaria but its black.. He is with antibiotics beacuse he had an infection in his mouth.. He eats normally.. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 7 months and 3 days old

Hello. It is very common for some antibiotics to discolor the stool. As long as he is eating & feeling well, I would not be too concerned. You might call your vet tomorrow & just make sure this is a possible side effect from the medication that was prescribed, but I would not be too worried.
