My cat is coughing, lost her meow, meds aren't working. Why?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 2 months old

Hi, My cat was coughing and lately stopped meowing just hissing some sound. It's been 4 days now. My vet said it seems case of respiratory infection because they are eating and behaving normally. I have given them med for the same but it failed to improve. Can it be because of season change (common cold)?

It could be laryngitis from an upper respiratory infection. Usually, the symptoms will go away within 10 days or so. If she worsen or it doesn't go away your vet may have to do more testing to figure out what is going on. https://www.petplace.com/article/cats/keeping-your-cat-healthy/everything-need-know-cat-laryngitis/
