My cat is coughing, lost her meow, meds aren't working. Why?

Hi, My cat was coughing and lately stopped meowing just hissing some sound. It's been 4 days now. My vet said it seems case of respiratory infection because they are eating and behaving normally. I have given them med for the same but it failed to improve. Can it be because of season change (common cold)? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 2 months old

It could be laryngitis from an upper respiratory infection. Usually, the symptoms will go away within 10 days or so.
