What's causing my senior cat's scabby fur loss on her nose?

Hi, I have a 14 year old female cat, she has some kind of skin problem on her face (over her nose area) the fur has all gone and its very scabby, I have attached a photo? she had it for quite sometime but has recently got much worse. I intend to take her to see a vet but can't get there for a few weeks and I am concerned for her.Thank you - Julie

This is actually very concerning. I suggest you get her to your vet as soon as possible. I would be very worried that this is skin cancer (like squamous cell carcinoma) because of her coloration (white), the location of the lesions and the duration of the lesions. https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/skin-squamous-cell-carcinoma-in-cats
