My bunny's mange won't go away. Do I need to quarantine her?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Female | unspayed | 6 months and 17 days old | 6 lbs

My beautiful bunny has mange. I have been treating her for almost 2 months now. It went and came back within days. Does she have to be quarantined while being treated? Her cage isnt thr biggest. I worry for her and dont want her to become depressed. We are in the same room together. I ended up having to sleep on ceramic tiles with a padded duvet to eliminate any bedding or furniture. The room she is in has ceramic flooring and no furniture apart from her cage which I attach below. Thank you

Mange is usually very easy to treat in rabbits. What treatment have you been using? Do you know what type of mange she has (Cheyletiella, or Psoroptes)? Can you please post again with more information?
