Updated On September 23rd, 2025

My African grey is suffering from a chest infection and seems very weak and lethargic. He is still eating a little bit but is quite drousy. Whicn antibiotic is better CNO-50 or tribrissen? I showed him to two very who recommended different antibiotics and I’m not sure which is better and safe to use for this case

Tribrissen can be used in birds for non-specific infections. Administer as directed by the prescribing veterinarian. Keep Steve warm and as stress free as possible. I cannot find any information on the other product listed. The manufacturer website has very limited information, not even ingredients or a specific antibiotic. Without an actual antibiotic name, advice on its use cannot be given.
