My dog ate chicken bones and plastic, now he's lethargic and hot.

Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 5 years and 1 month old | 90 lbs

My dog is a pittbull, he’s four years old. He seems sluggish and won’t do much. He recently got into chicken bones and he also tore up a door and a plastic rubber dog toy. He won’t eat and he feels really hot like a fever.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Tiger. I recommend that he sees a veterinarian today. His symptoms are worrisome especially given the history you have described. Chicken bones, the door or the toy could all cause an intestinal obstruction. This is an emergency if so. It typically requires surgery to correct. Of course, this may not be the case, but he needs to be evaluated to know for sure. I hope this information helps!
