Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | unspayed | 9 months and 15 days old
Dog had diarrhea and has eaten a bland diet for 24 hours and did not poop until this morning. Poop started out firmer and ended on the loose side with mucus, should we continue a bland diet and monitor?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Molly. Mucus typically indicates inflammation in the colon. So there is still a problem going on with her. It is generally fine to continue the bland diet, but I recommend that she sees her veterinarian for fecal testing. I hope this information helps!
