Is it better to euthanize two sick senior pets at once or separately?

Have a cat, 12 yo,with cancer and dog with urine problems, deaf, 16yo. Should we put down both at the same time or separetly?

I'm sorry to hear you're going through such a tough time. Pets can definitely miss and grieve for one another and the loss of one may well affect the other negatively. If both are palliative, it may be appropriate to release them together
