My dog has distemper and is paralyzed. Should I consider euthanasia?

Pet's info: Dog | English Cocker Spaniel | Male | 10 months and 19 days old | 26.455 lbs

My Dog has been suffering from Canine distemper The neurological part has affected him It started with Muscle twitching, pneumonia He is paralyzed completely IV treatement is being given We are thinking of Euthanasia What should we do? Is there any hope?

There is always a chance that a dog will recover from distemper, however, they often have lasting neurological deficits. I think euthanasia is warranted in this case because of his pneumonia and the fact that he has complete paralysis. So sorry that this happened to Caramel.
