Thank you for submitting your question regarding Cleo. Dogs can acquire a canine form of the coronavirus. It is generally a mild infection that causes vomiting and diarrhea. Most of the time treatment is not needed. This has been a long standing viral infection and is not new. The virus affecting humans in the news is an emerging strain of the virus. At this point, there is no evidence of spread of this form of the virus to dogs. I hope this information helps!
