Is daily Trazodone safe for my dog's separation anxiety? What to know?

My dog has been on Gabapentin for separation anxiety, vet is thinking of switching her to Trazadone. Looking for another opinion on if this would be safe to give her daily? She is only alone 1-4 hours a day. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 1 year and 3 months old | 30 lbs
