My dog ate xylitol melatonin. She's fine after an hour, is she safe?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed | 5 years and 11 months old | 13 lbs

My dog had 1 1mg melatonin that contained xylitol shes been acting fine... And like her normal self. This was over an hour ago she even bad some honey and a treat. Will she be ok?? i cant afford to take her to emergency but i can call my vet tomorrow

Typically you see signs of xylitol toxicity 15-30 minutes after ingestion. If it's been an hour, she may be ok but monitor Middy tonight closely. Any concerning signs, get her into an ER vet right away. Otherwise, have her seen by her vet tomorrow.
