Thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach with your question about Chloe. Oh no, poor girl! She could have a stomach illness, may have eaten something rotten, has a foreign body, pancreatitis or parvo. I can give you a home remedy for her to see if that helps. Feed her a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If she vomits the bland diet, refuses to eat the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away. Vomiting can be caused by many conditions primarily gastrointestinal in nature such gastroenteritis and gastrointestinal foreign body ingestion and obstruction or other conditions such as pancreatitis or kidney disease. I recommend that you have Cookie evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Likely diagnostics to be performed include abdominal imaging and general bloodwork. You could try a bland diet composed mainly of boiled chicken and white rice which is easily digestible and can help with an upset stomach. Good luck and have a great day!

My puppy is vomiting
Poor puppy! This vomiting could be caused by a severe GI illness, eating something rotten, a foreign body, pancreatitis, or even parvo if she isn't fully vaccinated. If she has been vomiting for less than 24 hours and not vomiting multiple times per hour, you can try a home remedy to see if that helps. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, she vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away.

My Frenchton is 3 and she is starting to vomit phlegm. It happened about 1 month ago and she has dose it 4 times with in the month.
This could indicate a number of things. It possible that Chloe developed a food sensitivity, reflux, gastrointestinal stasis, internal organ issues, or esophageal inflammation. If the vomiting continues it would be best to have Chloe examined by a veterinarian. She may need X-rays or even blood work to determine the cause of the vomiting. A bland diet of boiled chicken and sweet potato can be offered for a day or two to see if this helps settle Chloe's stomach, but if the vomiting continues she will need to see a veterinarian for medication options. If the vomiting hasn’t improved on a bland diet, I would recommend Puchiwilly be evaluated by a veterinarian to determine the underlying cause for his vomiting, have any necessary testing done (X-rays, bloodwork), and start any treatment that he may need to resolve the issue.
