Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | spayed | 6 years and 3 months old
We have a 6 yr old german shepherd. She has been losing weight for 6 mos. We have an appt at the vet on Mon am. Today she started slobbering a lot and I went out on the porch she could not lift her head back on her bed. She is very weak now and can barely walk. I gave her a 100 mg trazodone to calm her.

I think you need to get her to a vet immediately. I would be very worried that she has something serious going on like a tumor on the spleen which is very common in GSD. The trazadone may not have been the best idea. Side effects associated with Trazodone include lethargy, sedation, vomiting, diarrhea, panting, hyperactivity, ataxia, increased anxiety, increased appetite, shaking, restlessness, and/or agitation. I strongly recommend a vet visit right away. Don't let her suffer. She sounds very sick.
