My cockatiel is learning to fly. How do I keep him safe from hitting walls?

Hi, my cockatiel start flying recently and he keep hitting the walls , and fall while try to landing what should I do to help him ( the room is wide with no tall furniture). Also at any age should I tame his wings? Thank you for any help you can provide ❤️

Thanks for reaching out about Leo. Young birds learning to fly can be very clumsy until pectoral (flight) feathers are developed. Provide a safe environment for training. Ensure that diet is adequate to sustain growth and development of muscle mass (i.e. vitamins, protein). Good luck.
