My cat's rabies shot expired. Can I vaccinate her while nursing?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 4 months and 26 days old | 12 lbs

My cats rabies was due 2/19 she just had kittens 2/20 dies that vaccine just immediately wear off that expiration date or us there a couple weeks to get her booster- she is nursing kitties

It does not immediately "wear off" but it depends on how good her immune system is as to whether or not her body responded appropriately to the previous vaccine. There are no vaccine risks to nursing cats, so vaccination is recommended now. Kittens can receive their first subcutaneous vaccines at 4-6 weeks of age and there is no risk to the babies when nursing moms are vaccinated.
