My cat ate tobacco, has worms. Is dewormer safe? Other cats have URI.

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | 6 years and 6 months old | 8 lbs

My cat has a roundworm my husband favor cigarette butt she didn't eat all of it I just bought dewormer over the counter need to know if I could give it to her tonight or should I wait cuz she has a tobacco secondly and where the one cat have three they've had an upper respiratory infection all of them really bad I've been putting them in a room Steam is there anything else I can do to help them does that really help at all

If all of the pets have parasites, respiratory infections, or ate cigarettes, it is best to seek veterinary care for them right away. They could be transferring the infections and parasites back and forth, and tobacco products can be toxic if ingested. They may also need additional care from your vet including antibiotics to treat the infection.
