Pet's info: Dog | Goldendoodle | Male | unneutered | 3 years and 10 months old | 65 lbs
Hi my 4 year old goldendoodle has seasonal allergies. This past july he was chewing at his paws, vet prescribed a steroid for it. By the end of the steroid use his bushy beautiful tail was almost all fallen out. She put him on a n antibiotic and shampoo. Said dog hair can go into dormant stage. Antibiotics and shampoo didn’t work. It’s now feb and 3 vets later cannot figure out what it is. Ended up having a yeast infection in both ears but now his body is balding. Especially head.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Memphis. Has he had skin scrapes to test him for mites? Demodex can cause hairloss. Food, contact, environmental and flea allergies are common as well. If this is not the case, then I would consider skin biopsies to test for more rare diseases affecting his coat. I hope this information helps!
