Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | unspayed | 68 lbs

My female lab puppy is about 6 to 7 months and she has really bad dry and flakey skin she is always really hot she has the red bumps around her stomach area, her fur is really thin, she is always hungry no matter what, she has the big pot belly. We only feed her about 2 to 3 times a day. She is always panting and breathing really heavy. I'm not sure what's wrong with her and what I should do.

Hello. This puppy needs medical attention. She appears to have a serious skin condition and should have a skin scrape to check for mange. If she is potbellied and has low energy, she may have other internal parasites. Some intestinal parasites can cause anemia as well as gastrointestinal problems. Anemia is a low red blood cell count which causes weakness and lack of energy. Please have her examined, tested for parasites-both internal and external- and given the appropriate treatments.
