Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 5 lbs
My 21 yr old female cat has been throwing up after she poops. (Yellow bile). Her poop is clay colored and pale. She wasn't feeling well yesterday and threw up twice. I know constipation can cause it but she's on 50 ml of sub q fluids a day and has been drinking a lot. She has mild ckd and a possible kidney stone. Lungs clear, heart normal size but rythm issues and a grade 3-4 murnur. She was fine until the other day when she stated having mild diahrea and pale colored poops.

Pale coloured stool is very concerning (especially if her diet has not changed) as it indicates that the normal process of digestion and excretion is not being completed. Much of the normal stool colour comes from waste products of digestion including bile pigments and pale faeces can be a result of blockage of bile and/or reduced liver function. I would recommend a vet check and possible blood tests or ultrasound as soon as possible
