My female dog has spots on her vulva and a urine odor. What's wrong?

Hello! Silva, newfoundland, 1.5 years, spayed. She'll see a vet tomorrow, but i want to be prepared for the discussion. She has these unhealthy spots on her vulva and around. Stinks like urine. Still playful and active, but this is definitely not ok. Thank you. Pet's info: Dog | Newfoundland | Female | spayed | 1 year and 6 months old | 95 lbs

Hi and thanks for posting. The pictures came out very blurry so I cannot see what you are referring to. Spots around the vulva could be any number of things- from a bacterial infection, comedones (blackheads), yeast infection, or other causes. Good that you have an appointment with your veterinarian tomorrow so Silva can get checked out.
