Is Visine safe for my kitten's eye infection before a vet visit?

Can I put visine advanced eye drops in my kittens eyes? He appears to have an eye infection but I can’t afford to take him to the vet right now till next week. Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | unneutered

Hello. Please do not put Visine in your kittens eyes. Visine can be drying & may make the eyes worse. Cinnamon has an upper respiratory infection, so to help the eyes, just take a cloth with warm water & gently clean away any discharge that collects around the nose & eyes. Make sure he keeps eating & try to encourage him to drink more fluids by offering chicken or beef broths & stocks & even tuna water. He should be OK to wait until you can see your vet.
