Can my cat survive eating only frozen mice meant for snakes?

It depends on what the snake has been eating already. If the previous owner/breeder feeds live mice/food, then the snake will most likely eat dead food. Some snakes can be trained to eat dead food but it can take some time. Some will never convert to dead/frozen food. You may want to consider getting another type of reptile that does not eat mice. The main secondary issues from hunting are tapeworms (if they eat the mouse) and issues from fleas (so I would apply a good prevention like Revolution of Advantage Multi). Another consideration would be to make sure you don't have rodenticide poisons anywhere because if they caused the mouse's death and then your cat ate it (or a future mouse!) then they would also be exposed to it!

Rats are a bit more nutritious and ideally preferable over mice, but mice are also a perfectly acceptable option. Some snakes simply prefer them, in which case you are welcome to keep feeding Luminescence mice, and depending on her size she may simply need multiple mice per feeding as she grows. If you want to encourage her to switch to rats, you can try rubbing a dead mouse or mouse bedding on the rat prior to offering it, to give the rat a more familiar scent. She was doing her natural animalistic behavior when she ate this mouse. However, mice can carry disease and can just make a pets stomach upset. It sounds like at the very least she has an upset stomach. You can try fasting her for the next 12-24 hrs and then feeding her a bland diet of boiled plain chicken and rice for a few days to see if this settles things down. If she is severely lethargic, not responsive when called and she is indoors, has pale gums, has continuous vomiting episodes, or any neurological symptoms (drunken walking, falling over, etc), then those are more serious signs of toxiicty and she should be seen by your vet right away. As long as he is eating, don't worry too much. If he will allow, look in his mouth for signs of injury. See your veterinarian if necessary. Feed hoppers for several feedings, then try an adult mouse. It is likely the stress related and may take some time.
