Why is my puppy's coat dry after bathing with regular shampoo?

I am giving royal canin maxi starter and royal canin puppy milk to my dante. I am observing dryness on his coat. I gave him a bath few days back due to his dirtyness with a mild shampoo but not designed for puppies. Please advise me what should i do? Pet's info: Dog | Cane Corso | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 23 days old | 54 lbs

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Dante. He is in a great diet. I recommend using a shampoo and cream rinse approved for use in puppies only as puppies have sensitive skin. A fatty acid or oatmeal based formula is most moisturizing. If his coat quality does not improve though, he will need to see a veterinarian. I hope this information helps!
