Is my guinea pig's cage big enough? What size is recommended?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

hello! So I bought this cage for 1 Guinea pig (it’s a long story as to why I’m getting 1 piggy) and I’ve heard the measurements are just right and everything, but I wanted to ask a vet to make sure. I’m sending pictures of the hutch :) Thank you so much!

I'm sorry but your photos did not come through. But, I can tell you that for one guinea pig the recommended hutch dimensions are: 7.5 square feet cage (minimum), but more is better; generally 30" x 36" is a good size.
