Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered

My cat woke up yesterday morning and his eye was runny, clear liquid, red and half shut. Now, it appears to have a milky discharge, his eye seems to be a bit more open but it looks like it bothering him. He's not scratching at it nor is he coughing or sneezing. What can I do for him?

Hi. Poor baby. This could be an infection or a corneal ulcer. Both which are red and painful. I would recommend getting him seen today or tomorrow. Nothing over the counter besides saline is safe. Good luck
