My puppy's poop is shiny during recovery. Is her stomach okay?

Hi, My 3 months old puppy had black loose stool with some card red mucous a week ago. She had 3 injections and now on 5th day of her med. She seems to be more active and going to sleep a lot better ( she used to switch places a lot to lie down about 2 days ago). Her feaces look like the picture attached. Is the shiny bit on the feaces mean she still have damaged GI lining and some bleeding?

Generally a sheen on the feces indicate excess fat in the feces or mucus. Fat is often related to pancreatic issues or a one time fatty meal. Mucus generally means inflammation. I recommend to keep your vet up to date on how she is doing. They will recommend any additional treatments based upon her response. Blood generally indicates damage to the GI lining so always watch for that. I hope this helps.
