My dog licked a raisin dish lid. Is less urination a bad sign?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | German Spitz | Male | unneutered | 6 years and 10 months old | 13.22 lbs

There was 5 to 6 raisins in a sweet dish and I ate them all. I had to go to another room and I accidentally left the sweet dish bowl lid there, where there was little sweet dish sticking to it. When I came back I saw my dog licking off that lid. Now it's very unlikely that there was any raisins in that bowl lid because I would have seen it but still I am very worried if my dog had eaten any raisins. Its been 15 hrs he is totally fine but is urinating less than normal. Is it some bad sign ?

Hello. Raisins can be toxic, but your pet would not have had an opportunity to ingest enough to cause any issues. Just licking the residue from the dish or eating a tiny piece would not be a problem.
