Why is my 6-month-old kitten pawing at her mouth? Teething or pain?

My 6 months old kitten started to paw at her mouth vigorously. Is there something wrong or is she just teething?

Hello. Pets don’t normally paw at their face due to routine teething unless there is some significant discomfort with it and that would be abnormal. It would be best to try to determine if she has something else going on or some source of pain. You can try to look yourself but it can be difficult to do . It is important to look closely at the roof of the mouth and you may require some help or a veterinarian to examine her.
