My puppy recently had worms and bloody stool, I got the puppies a few days ago. What should I do to prevent the bloody stool?

The bloody stool may be due to the parasites. Once he is dewormed, the stool should normalize. You can feed a bland diet and a veterinary probiotic to help recovery. Brands include FortiFlora, ProStora, ProViable or Bene-Bac. A repeat deworming may be indicated in 2 and 4 weeks.
