This could be a snake in recovery from an old infection, rough shed or trauma. It could also be very early infection. You will need to monitor the areas in questions for redness, spreading or discharge. Watch Logan for lethargy or a decrease in appetite. If you are concerned about developing infection, you can clean the areas daily with a diluted Betadine or chlorhexadine (Hibiclens) solution. If the spots worsen, have Logan seen by your veterinarian or a vet experience din treating reptiles for confirmation and treatment.

Ideally, she should be physically examined by your veterinarian or a vet experienced in treating reptiles. If fungal infection is confirmed, she may need antifungal therapy. In the meantime, maintain a clean enclosure with low humidity. Excess humidity will promote fungal growth. Clean and sanitize the cage, bowls and hides. Discard anything that cannot be sanitized. Make sure she continues to eat and soak her regularly to treat or prevent minor dehydration.
