My German Shepherd has severe yeast infections. What else can I do?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 7 years and 11 months old | 99 lbs

My 7 year old german shepherd is having severe yeast infections over his whole body and now spreading to genitals! The vet has already given him antibiotics and neomac injections but then also there is no difference in his health. Kindly suggest what can be done! We are hopeless now and ready to get him treated in all the possible ways!

Instead of the neomac i would recommend a medication called Itraconazole that is taken orally for 3-4 weeks, it's more effective for this sort of problem. i would also recommend to treat possible skin mites which are often the primary cause.
