Why is my senior cat losing weight, howling at night, and circling?

My 16year old Ragdoll cat has lost a lot of weight especially around his back end. He howls at night sometimes and he walks around in circles a lot (atleast 3 times a day). He still eats twice a day, he doesn't drink as much as he used to. He only goes number 2 every few days now (used to be everyday). Pet's info: Cat | Ragdoll | Male | neutered | 15 years and 7 months old

There are three very common things that cats get as they age: 1. diabetes, 2. kidney disease and 3. hyperthyroidism (high thyroid levels). All of these can be easily ruled in/out with simple blood/urine testing. I suggest you have Monty to the vet to discuss this.
